4 Stars out of 5 Stars
Okay, I just finished The Girl Who Never Was & I must say, I really did enjoy it. I would have given it 5 stars but I felt things were a bit rushed in the beginning (although, nothing takes away from the story of this book, it's just hard to connect with the two main protagonists & their story) but overall, I think it was a really enjoyable read. In fact, I loved the actually story, there is a strong underlining romance that completely takes over the book but it doesn't dim away the actually plot and heroine's job/goal she needs to achieve. I love paranormal romances but I love them even more when the paranormal overpowers the romance by just the right amount so that we constantly get the love of the main characters as well as a strong, well though out story with a million details that fit all together. I completely recommend this read & I also heard there was a novella, so once I check that out, I may change my review & give it 5 stars, as long as it shows us why & how these two love birds really connected. Just trust me, if you like paranormal romances, you will throughly enjoy this book. The second is coming in the mail in days!
